Kingdom Kids Daycare LLC - Hebbronville, Texas Texas Rising Star 4-Star Center Kingdom Kids is hiring a dependable, loving, and hardworking substitute teacher. Substitutes may be scheduled from one to five days per week , depending on enrollment and staffing needs. This position may lead to a permanent classroom position for the right person. Childcare is rewarding, meaningful work but it is not easy babysitting. Our teachers change diapers, clean and sanitize, follow lesson plans, document children's care, supervise indoor and outdoor play, manage challenging behaviors appropriately, and remain patient when the classroom becomes busy or loud. Responsibilities Actively supervise children at all times Follow classroom routines, ratios, licensing standards, and center policies Change diapers and assist with toileting Serve meals and complete required cleaning and sanitizing Engage with children on the floor and during outdoor play Use calm, loving, age-appropriate guidance Communicate respectfully with families and coworkers Accept coaching and assist wherever the center needs support Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Able to complete fingerprinting and the Texas childcare background-check process Able to complete all required childcare training Able to remain calm and composed around crying, loud noises, and challenging behaviors Able to sit on the floor, bend, lift, stand, walk, and move quickly when a child needs assistance Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Willing to work flexible schedules based on the center's needs
