Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Worker to join Church nursery that deals with infant to toddler age children. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, and daily routines to ensure safety and well-being Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child protection Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other basic childcare needs in accordance with best practices in early childhood education Support behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Ability to manage behavior with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement Experience with toddler care, infant care, or nannying is advantageous
Pay:
$22.32 - $25.00 per hour
