Duties:

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate children's learning and development
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children in your care
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom
• Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and monitoring dietary restrictions
• Administer basic first aid when necessary
• Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Skills:

• Educate children through engaging activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social development
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment
• Ability to provide nurturing care while attending to the individual needs of each child
• Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and techniques
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with caregiving responsibilities such as diaper changing, potty training, etc.
