Job Description

Infant Teacher St. Philip Preschool - Hurst, TX St. Philip Preschool is seeking loving, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teachers to join our early childhood education team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about caring for infants, creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, and partnering with families during these important first years of development. About Us St. Philip Preschool is a licensed Christian preschool serving children from six weeks through Pre-K. We provide a warm, supportive environment where children learn, grow, and experience God's love through age-appropriate activities, meaningful relationships, and high-quality early childhood education. Our staff is more than a team—we are a family dedicated to supporting children, families, and one another. Responsibilities Provide loving and attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Create a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Follow daily schedules for feeding, diapering, napping, and developmental activities. Engage infants through age-appropriate learning experiences, music, sensory play, and language development. Maintain accurate records and communicate daily with families through Brightwheel. Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration. Maintain active supervision of children at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with infants or young children preferred. Early Childhood Education coursework, CDA, or related credentials are a plus. Ability to lift, carry, and care for infants throughout the day. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must pass all required background checks. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
