Dance-N-Groove preschool dance instructors play a pivotal role in nurturing and introducing our youngest dancers to the world of dance. Responsibilities

• Teach weekly dance classes to preschool students August through June
• Maintain Accurate attendance records.
• Teach choreography and rehearse students in preparation for performances.
• Assist where needed for studio events and performances.
• Attend all staff meetings.
• Create a nurturing environment for our dancers.
• Implement lesson plans provided by the Director.
• Be flexible and pivot on a dime to keep students engaged and learning.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and parents.
• Get to know dancers and their personalities/learning styles. Qualifications
• Minimum 19 years of age
• Have a passion for the toddler/preschool age group (ages 2-7) and desire to see students grow.
• Accept and support Dance-N-Groove's mission, vision and values.
• Willingness to learn Dance-N-Groove's Preschool syllabus.
• Must have a high school degree and basic dance knowledge.
• Must have early childhood education knowledge and understand how toddlers/preschoolers learn and their developmental milestones.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Works well in a fast-paced, loud, energetic environment.
• Not afraid to get dirty and use their imagination as we help little ones explore the world around them.
