Our Brand New school, The Goddard School of Justin located at 1220 Hwy 114, Justin, TX 76247 is seeking warm, friendly, and experienced teachers for the following positions. We have multiple opportunities for teachers who love children and have early childhood education as their passion. 1)Lead Older Toddler Teacher (2½-3 Years) We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Lead Older Toddler Teacher to work with children approximately 2½-3 years old . This classroom focuses on helping children become more independent and preparing them for the transition into preschool, with a strong emphasis on potty training, communication, social-emotional development, and classroom routines . Key Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Implement age-appropriate learning activities and daily lesson plans. Provide consistent potty-training support throughout the day. Follow each child's potty-training plan and work closely with parents and school management. Take children to the restroom regularly and encourage independence with toileting, dressing, and handwashing. Accurately document potty successes, accidents, diaper/pull-up changes, meals, naps, and other required daily information. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's progress and daily routine. Help children develop language, social skills, self-help skills, sharing, and appropriate classroom behavior. Maintain active supervision of children at all times. Keep the classroom, restroom, toys, and learning areas clean and organized. Follow all school policies, health and safety procedures, and Texas Child Care Licensing requirements. Work cooperatively with co-teachers, management, and other staff. Maintain required classroom ratios and immediately communicate any safety or staffing concerns to management. Potty-Training Expectations The teacher should be patient, positive, and consistent with potty training. Children should never be embarrassed or punished for accidents. The teacher will work with management and families to establish realistic goals, track progress, and provide consistency between home and school. Why Choose The Goddard School of Justin?
