Role:

The Goddard School of Katy (Cinco Ranch) is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join their dedicated early childhood education team in Katy, TX. Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap times, and developmental observations Communicate openly and consistently with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily progress and milestones Ensure classroom cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to health and safety standards Collaborate with lead teachers and school administration to support curriculum goals and classroom objectives Build trusting, responsive relationships with infants to foster secure attachment and emotional well-being

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early education setting preferred Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices in infant care Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare licensing requirements Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and team members
