Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Floater Teacher / Infant Room Closer to join our vibrant team! This vital role offers flexibility and variety, supporting classroom needs across different age groups while ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. As a Floater Teacher / Infant Room Closer, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants in accordance with licensing standards and company policies Support classroom activities by assisting lead teachers with lesson planning and implementation tailored to infant developmental stages Ensure the safety and well-being of children through vigilant supervision and adherence to health protocols Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines to promote comfort and security for infants Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's day, milestones, and any concerns Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and social interaction among children Assist with closing duties in the infant room, including cleaning, organizing supplies, and preparing the space for the next day Requirements Prior experience working with infants or young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific care techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid certification preferred) Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons for room closing responsibilities Passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for young learners Join us to make a meaningful difference in children's lives!
