In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers. Your dedication will support children's growth in areas such as social-emotional skills, language development, motor skills, and early cognitive understanding. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while working within a collaborative and supportive team. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy, motor skills, and social-emotional learning Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and well-being throughout the day Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare are maintained at all times Incorporate early intervention techniques for children with special needs or developmental delays, collaborating with specialists when necessary Conduct assessments of child development using standardized testing methods to track growth and inform instruction Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, especially with infants and toddlers Skilled in curriculum development tailored to early learners' needs Proficient in classroom management and behavior management techniques suitable for young children Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, physical activity, and social skills Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure safety in emergency situations Experience supporting children with special education needs or in early intervention programs Competence in documenting child progress through observation and standardized assessments Join us in shaping the future by providing nurturing care and inspiring early learning!
