Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and support holistic child development Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among preschool children Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, and physical education to promote healthy growth and development Use effective behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and resolve conflicts constructively Assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor instruction accordingly Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, developmental milestones, and any special needs or interventions required Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations to maintain a safe learning environment Qualifications Proven experience in preschool teaching or early childhood education with a strong understanding of childhood development principles Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori or other specialized teaching methods such as toddler care or special education techniques Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children Experience working with children in daycare or private school settings is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate child development instruction and promote early intervention when needed Certification or training in early childhood education or preschool teaching is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms young lives!
