Job Description

We are seeking a flexible, energetic, and nurturing Part-Time Child Care Teacher to join our team! This is a dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety. As a floater/coverage teacher, you will rotate between classrooms as needed to provide support to our lead teachers, cover breaks, and assist with daily activities. You will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, engaging, and loving environment for children of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Flexibility:
Support different classrooms (Infants through Preschool) as needed throughout the day.
Supervision:
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children, adhering to state licensing requirements and center safety protocols.
Instructional Support:
Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans, managing transitions, and facilitating play-based learning activities.
Caregiving:
Assist with daily routines, including snacks/meals, nap time, potty assistance/diapering, and outdoor play.
Communication:
Maintain professional and positive communication with parents, staff, and management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting (preferred). Must meet state requirements for child care employment (e.g., background check) Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom routines and age groups. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
High School Diploma or GED Pay:
From $8.50 per hour
