Position Summary:

The Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment where two-year-old children can thrive socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. The ideal candidate will bring energy, patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with The Goddard School's inquiry-based curriculum. Foster a classroom community built on respect, safety, and care. Support children's independence, self-help skills, and social development. Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to provide a team-based approach to education and care. Adhere to Texas licensing regulations and The Goddard School standards.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with toddlers (2-year-olds strongly preferred). Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
