Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate age-appropriate educational, recreational, and creative activities that promote growth and learning Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques Implement first aid protocols promptly and confidently in case of minor injuries or emergencies Collaborate with team members to develop individualized support plans for children with special needs or behavioral challenges Maintain clean, organized, and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration and curiosity Engage in outdoor work activities, supervising children during playtime in outdoor settings to promote physical activity and social skills Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment Experience working with children across diverse age groups, including youth group activity facilitation and camp experience Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities Experience in special education or working with children who have unique learning needs is a plus Excellent child supervision skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities Background in youth development programs or youth programs teaching experience preferred Outdoor work experience that supports active supervision in outdoor settings Theater experience or working with students in creative arts activities enhances engagement skills Join us as a child care educator, where your enthusiasm fuels children's growth, your expertise shapes their future, and your dedication makes every day meaningful!
