The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children and be able to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a licensed daycare or childcare center required
• Experience working with toddlers preferred
• Must be dependable, patient, and caring
• Must be able to work well as part of a team
• Must be willing to follow classroom routines, center policies, and Texas childcare licensing requirements
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check
• TB screening required

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for toddlers
• Supervise children at all times and maintain a safe classroom environment
• Follow the daily classroom schedule and routines
• Assist with age-appropriate learning activities
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, and nap time
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Communicate professionally with parents and other staff members
• Follow all daycare center policies and licensing requirements Create and prepare weekly age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.

Pay:
