We seek candidates that are committed Christians, active in their local church, and seek to enrich the lives of children enrolled in our program.

Pay:

Starting at $11.50 per hour, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-2:45pm. Substitute openings are available as well. Job Description Responsible for age-appropriate care which includes: feeding, maintaining a safe environment, putting children down for naps, holding, sitting with, and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, crafts, and play. Be polite, friendly, and courteous to all children, parents, and volunteers. Arrive on time when scheduled. Follow the HBC child protection policy and PDO employee handbook. Stay until all children are secured with the adult who dropped them off, or who is listed on the child's pickup list. Straighten room and clean any used toys/beds before leaving. Other duties assigned by the Parents Day Out Coordinator. Requirements A desire to grow in your relationship with God and serve children and their families. High School diploma required. Preference given to candidates with childcare experience. 18 years or older. Must be willing to submit (and pass) background screenings. Must be able to pass our online child abuse training exam.
