The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide nurturing care to infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and comforting as needed. Engage children in play-based learning experiences that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring that toys and materials are safe and sanitized. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team environment focused on the well-being of the children. Requirements Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents. Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus. Ability to create engaging educational activities for preschool-aged children. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities for this role. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
