Childcare Provider

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to help in our First Kids ministry on Sundays and Wednesdays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary children while promoting faith learning through play and structured activities. Duties Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a safe environment. Supervise children when church activities are scheduled. Help implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and spiritual development. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space. Communicate effectively with parents and/or guardians regarding their child's care and any concerns. Manage behavior in a positive manner. Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and dressing infants and toddlers. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects each child's individuality. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or childcare settings is preferred (e.g., daycare, preschool, nannying). Knowledge of infant care and toddler care practices is essential. First Aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being. Ability to work Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings and flexible hours as needed. Join us in making a difference in the lives of children!
