Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of preschool-aged children, providing them with the foundational skills they need for future success. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. Provide high-quality toddler care by ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in your classroom. Foster an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education. Engage children in educational activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a harmonious learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Experience Previous experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of caregiving practices and child development principles. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Experience working with children requiring special education services is a plus. A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
