Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Child Care caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, community, or facility setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, learning activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those we serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to children. Monitor and document children's overall health status. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation. Maintain cleanliness in the living space, including laundry and light housekeeping tasks. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being. Assist with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including specialized care for conditions like Alzheimer's or dementia. Provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Skills Proficient in First Aid and CPR techniques. Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is preferred. Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health status. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Familiarity with memory care techniques and dementia care strategies. Experience in home health or hospice care environments is a plus. Excellent cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to dietary needs. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families. Compassionate approach towards caregiving with a focus on enhancing client dignity and independence.
