Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate science curricula that align with early childhood education standards and promote inquiry-based learning Plan and execute interactive lessons that incorporate experiments, demonstrations, and sensory activities to stimulate curiosity Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, milestones, and science-related activities to foster strong home-school connections Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education into science lessons to support holistic development Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student assessments, and classroom activities in compliance with educational policies Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development, special education needs, and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings, especially in preschool environments Strong background in early childhood development principles, including behavior management and classroom management techniques Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy integrated with science topics Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and health & safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Experience teaching children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to foster curiosity about science through creative instruction and hands-on activities Join us in shaping the next generation of scientists by inspiring young learners through dynamic science education!
