Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This role involves educating infant/toddler aged children, giving nurturing care and providing developmental learning strategies. The Infant/Toddler Teacher will work closely with students to support their development and ensure a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom experience. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Provide attentive infant/toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Experience Previous experience working with infant/toddler-aged children is preferred; experience in infant care or babysitting is also beneficial. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere. Familiarity with first aid procedures is a plus. A background in education or childcare-related fields is advantageous but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.
