Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and guiding the development of young children aged 1 to 3 years old. Your primary focus will be to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment that fosters the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of toddlers.
Responsibilities:
PLAY! Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support the overall development of toddlers, including language, motor skills, sensory exploration, and early socialization. DANCE and SING! Maintain a well-organized and child-friendly classroom environment, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and adherence to health and hygiene standards. LOVE! Foster a warm and nurturing atmosphere, providing emotional support and encouragement to each toddler, building trust, and promoting a positive learning experience. CARE! Observe and assess each child's progress and behavior, adapting teaching methods and activities to meet their unique needs and interests. SHARE! Establish open and effective communication with parents or guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress, behavior, and milestones.
JOIN FORCES!
Work closely with other teachers and staff members, participating in team meetings, sharing ideas, and contributing to the overall improvement of the school's early childhood program. GUIDE! Implement positive discipline techniques and strategies that promote self-discipline and a sense of responsibility among toddlers. PROTECT! Monitor the well-being of toddlers, including attention to dietary needs, sleep routines, and ensuring a safe environment for physical activities. CREATE! Encourage toddlers to express themselves creatively through art, music, movement, and imaginative play.

1-2 years preferred professional child care experience Strong written and oral communication skills Basic technology skills or ability to learn easily ( Able to navigate an iPad) Have a love for out doors High energy with the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, kneel, bend, squat, and crawl Talk to and hear voices at many levels See up close and up to a certain distance, see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception Ability to work well with others (teachers, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment A basic understanding of child development or eagerness to learn Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification upon hire Must clear a full background check High School Diploma/GED or significant college credit in early childhood education or related field of study.
