Child Care Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to create a nurturing and educational environment for children in our care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children, demonstrating strong skills in behavior management and early childhood education. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering their social and emotional development. Duties Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Educate children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Implement behavior management techniques to guide positive interactions among children. Plan and execute daily activities that stimulate physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper hygiene practices during feeding times. Supervise playtime both indoors and outdoors, ensuring safe interactions among peers. Requirements Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong skills in toddler care, including the ability to engage with young children effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents. Ability to manage behaviors constructively while fostering a positive environment. A passion for educating young minds and supporting their developmental milestones.
