Our focus is on creating engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences that foster growth in creativity, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills through innovative lesson planning and dedicated staff. Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Child Care Floater Teacher(s) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with lesson planning, and help create a positive learning atmosphere for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to our mission of meeting each child's unique developmental needs while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans across various subjects including literacy, math, arts, and science. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering social skills among children. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and curiosity. Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean learning space. Work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring inclusive support. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and classroom events. Support toddlers and preschoolers with activities tailored to their developmental stages, including Montessori or other specialized approaches. Looking for Floater Teachers for our 18 mths-Pre-K class (4-5) Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing educational activities. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom environments. Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Familiarity with working with children with special needs or disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging parents. Classroom experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred. Skills in literacy education, math instruction, and early childhood curriculum development are highly valued.
