Job Description

Duties:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
  • Assess and monitor the development of each child and provide individualized support as needed
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and behavior
  • Follow all licensing regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Skills:
  • Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and organized learning environment for young children
  • Literacy education: Knowledge of early literacy skills and strategies to promote reading readiness
  • Experience working with students: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
  • Early childhood education: Understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Physical education: Ability to incorporate physical activity into daily lesson plans to promote gross motor skills development
  • Educate:
    Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds to learn and grow
  • Child welfare: Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
  • Childcare:
    Ability to provide nurturing care for young children, including meeting their basic needs such as feeding, diapering, etc.
  • Childhood development: Understanding of the stages of childhood development and ability to tailor instruction accordingly
