NRH Montessori is a licensed childcare center committed to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children using the Montessori approach. We are currently looking for a compassionate and dependable Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team and help provide exceptional care to our youngest learners.
Position Overview:
As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you'll support the Lead Infant Teacher in providing attentive care and developmentally appropriate activities for infants aged 3 to 18 months. You'll play a key role in maintaining a calm, safe, and supportive space where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and naptime Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Support age-appropriate learning activities and play Observe and report on children's development and needs to the lead teacher Foster a warm, respectful, and caring atmosphere in line with Montessori values Communicate positively with parents, staff, and children
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required) Experience working with infants (at least 6 months preferred) Familiarity with the Montessori method is a plus Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Must pass a background check
