Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Deliver child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques. Engage children in hands-on activities that promote learning in areas such as literacy, math, and social skills. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and classroom activities to enhance educational outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development related to preschool teaching, childhood development, and early childhood education best practices. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or toddler care settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention programs is advantageous. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education. Experience working with diverse student populations, including those requiring additional support or specialized instruction such as behavior management or child welfare initiatives. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during all activities. Strong communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within a collaborative environment.
