Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreK Teacher with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This is an opportunity to be in a PreK Patnership with a ISD school district. Position can be full time or part time. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Duties Using and implementing a comprehensive curriculum plan that promote early childhood development, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Deliver child-centered instruction tailored to individual developmental needs, including toddlers and preschool-aged children. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety. Maintain classroom organization, manage daily routines, and oversee classroom activities to foster an engaging learning atmosphere. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional planning. Promote physical activity through age-appropriate exercises and coordinate lessons that incorporate movement and motor skill development. Follow health and safety protocols by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, ensuring a secure environment for all children. Experience Prior experience working with children for at least 2 1/2 years in a TRS preschool or toddler care settings is required; classroom experience is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience implementing behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions among children. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community partners about children's progress and needs. Previous experience teaching physical education or literacy education at the preschool level is advantageous. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is encouraged.
