Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Spanish Teacher to inspire young learners through engaging bilingual education. In this role, you will create a vibrant classroom environment where children can develop their language skills while exploring early childhood development concepts. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive Spanish language curricula tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating age-appropriate activities and lesson plans. Foster an engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation, curiosity, and social-emotional growth among young learners. Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive space conducive to learning and exploration. Incorporate early childhood education principles, including child development instruction, literacy education, and physical activity into daily routines. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings, reports, and updates. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom activities, and special projects related to bilingual education and early intervention strategies. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards while maintaining detailed records of student activities and progress. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings with a strong understanding of childhood development. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education in a bilingual environment. Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices. Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, staff, and community partners using excellent communication skills. Familiarity with preschool teaching methods, classroom experience in private or public school settings, and experience teaching physical education or math to young learners. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
