Duties Implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to toddler development milestones, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and basic math concepts Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management and classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and safety Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, needs, and achievements through updates and parent-teacher meetings Conduct child development instruction using age-appropriate teaching methods that support physical education, fine motor skills, and cognitive growth Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety incidents Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the classroom while adhering to childcare regulations and health guidelines Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, especially with toddlers or preschoolers Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, early intervention techniques, and classroom management strategies Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare and safety protocols is preferred Ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and individual needs Join our team as a Toddler Teacher if you're eager to nurture young learners through innovative teaching practices while fostering their overall development.
