Position Summary Infinite Learning Academy is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, dependable, and nurturing Pre-K 3 Lead Teacher who is passionate about preparing young children for academic and social success. The Pre-K 3 Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where children can learn through purposeful instruction, exploration, play, and positive relationships. The ideal candidate is patient, enjoys actively playing and interacting with children, and understands that strong early childhood education requires both intentional teaching and responsive caregiving.

Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Lesson Implementation:

Consistently implement daily lesson plans and learning activities aligned with classroom objectives and developmental expectations. Prepare materials in advance and ensure planned learning experiences are completed throughout the week.

Early Academic Development:

Provide intentional instruction that builds children's number sense, early literacy, language development, pre-writing skills, and foundational academic readiness .

Social-Emotional Development:

Teach and model appropriate social skills, including sharing, cooperation, emotional regulation, problem-solving, following directions, and positive peer interactions.

Differentiated & Small-Group Instruction:

Demonstrate knowledge of differentiated instruction and use routine observations and assessments to identify children's individual learning needs. Plan purposeful small-group activities and instructional strategies based on children's current skill levels and developmental progress.

Active Engagement:

Maintain an enthusiastic and hands-on presence in the classroom. Participate in children's play, conversations, learning centers, outdoor activities, and other experiences rather than supervising from a distance.

Classroom Management:

Establish predictable routines, clear expectations, and developmentally appropriate behavior-management practices that create a positive and productive learning environment.

Parent & Family Communication:

Maintain professional, consistent communication with parents regarding children's learning, development, classroom experiences, and concerns. Build meaningful relationships with families and contribute to positive, impactful relationships between Infinite Learning Academy and the surrounding community.

Assessment & Documentation:

Conduct routine developmental and academic assessments, document children's progress, and use assessment information to guide lesson planning and individualized instruction.

Attendance & Dependability:

Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and arrive prepared and on time for scheduled shifts. Understand that dependable staffing is essential to classroom consistency, child safety, and quality care.

Professional Development:

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional growth by completing required training, participating in professional development opportunities, accepting constructive feedback, and applying new knowledge in the classroom.

Classroom Organization & Safety:

Maintain a clean, organized, inviting, and hazard-free learning environment . Ensure classroom materials, learning centers, children's belongings, and instructional resources are appropriately maintained and accessible.

Team Collaboration:

Maintain positive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with coworkers, administrators, and support staff. Communicate professionally, contribute to a team-oriented environment, and assist with center-wide needs when appropriate. Ideal Candidate Our ideal Pre-K 3 teacher is someone who genuinely enjoys being with three-year-olds . You should be comfortable getting on the floor to play, reading the same favorite story with enthusiasm, answering endless questions, celebrating small accomplishments, and patiently teaching skills that may need to be practiced many times. At the same time, this is a teaching position . Candidates should understand that purposeful learning, assessment, classroom organization, behavior guidance, family communication, and professional accountability are essential parts of providing high-quality early childhood education. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working with preschool-aged children strongly preferred CDA or other early childhood education credential preferred Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices Ability to plan and facilitate whole-group, small-group, and individualized learning experiences Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain required training and professional-development hours Ability to meet all Texas Child Care Regulation requirements applicable to caregivers Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, patience, and sound judgment What Success Looks Like A successful Pre-K 3 Lead Teacher maintains a classroom where children are safe, loved, actively engaged, learning, and making measurable developmental progress . Pay:

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
