Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to children's ages and individual needs, promoting early childhood learning and growth Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills, cooperation, and emotional regulation Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that supports learning and exploration Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately Administer first aid or pediatric first aid as needed, ensuring quick response to injuries or health issues Requirements Valid license or certification as a home daycare provider or early childhood educator Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), including pediatric first aid Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while creating an inclusive environment for all children This full-time position is ideal for passionate educators dedicated to nurturing young minds in a supportive home-based setting.
