In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and supporting their developmental needs. Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide age-specific care such as infant care, toddler care, preschooler care, and care for children with disabilities or special needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Maintain a safe environment by adhering to childhood development best practices and behavior management techniques Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns appropriately Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following established safety protocols Support children's emotional development through positive reinforcement and nurturing interactions Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Hands-on experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs teaching experience Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methods Familiarity with behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Classroom experience or daycare experience that demonstrates activity planning and child supervision skills Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in mandated reporting laws is preferred Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork Join us in creating a joyful, safe space where children can learn, grow, and explore!
