We are a faith-based early learning center committed to providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can grow in faith, learn with joy, and shine for tomorrow. As an Infant Teacher, you will provide attentive, responsive care while supporting each child's individual developmental needs and milestones. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies, understands the importance of consistency and routine, and wants to be part of a supportive childcare team. Responsibilities Provide loving, attentive, and responsive care to infants throughout the day Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and nurturing classroom environment Follow individual feeding, diapering, sleeping, and care schedules Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, movement, language development, and social-emotional growth Engage with infants through talking, singing, reading, floor play, and positive interactions Observe and support developmental milestones Communicate professionally and positively with families regarding their child's day, needs, and progress Maintain accurate daily records and documentation Follow all Texas Child Care Minimum Standards , center policies, and health and safety procedures Maintain proper classroom supervision and child-to-caregiver ratios at all times Work cooperatively with other teachers, floaters, and center leadership Assist with classroom cleaning, sanitizing, organization, and preparation Participate in required training, staff meetings, and professional development Support the faith-based mission and positive culture of Little Blessings Early Learning Center Qualifications Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or similar setting is preferred Must have a genuine love for working with infants and young children Dependable, patient, nurturing, and able to work well as part of a team Understanding of infant development, safe sleep practices, and age-appropriate care is preferred Ability to follow routines, policies, licensing requirements, and written instructions Strong communication and organizational skills Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Must be able to complete all required background checks and training for a licensed Texas childcare center Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare employees What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that caring for infants is about much more than meeting basic needs.
