Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Support early intervention efforts by identifying children's needs and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents to share progress, address concerns, and promote active engagement in their child's learning journey. Maintain accurate records of child development instruction, standardized testing results, and classroom activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, supervising children during activities, and maintaining a clean, organized classroom. Incorporate inclusive practices for children with special education needs or those requiring additional support in childhood development instruction. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of child development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Ability to develop engaging curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork with colleagues. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards to ensure safety and compliance. Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are advantageous. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons effectively through lesson planning expertise and classroom experience.
