Kids of the Kingdom is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can provide a safe, loving, clean, and nurturing environment while supporting their growth and development. Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants and toddlers Maintain active supervision and ensure children's safety at all times Maintain children's cleanliness and personal hygiene throughout the day Change diapers regularly and as needed, following proper diaper-changing and sanitation procedures Assist children with toileting, handwashing, changing soiled clothing, and other personal care needs Assist with feeding, bottles, meals, nap routines, and other daily care needs Keep children's faces, hands, clothing, and diapering/toileting areas clean as appropriate throughout the day Engage children through reading, singing, sensory activities, play, and age-appropriate learning experiences Support classroom routines, transitions, and positive behavior guidance Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe classroom Communicate professionally and positively with families and coworkers Follow Kids of the Kingdom policies, Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards, and Texas Rising Star expectations Work collaboratively with other teachers and step in to support classroom needs as necessary Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous childcare experience preferred, especially with infants or toddlers Must meet Texas Child Care Licensing requirements and pass required background checks/fingerprinting CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and comfortable working as part of a team Must be comfortable performing diapering, toileting, feeding, and other routine personal-care responsibilities Must be able to lift and carry children up to 35 pounds and regularly sit, bend, kneel, stand, and move throughout the classroom What We're Looking For We would love someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and is willing to jump in and help without always needing direction .
