Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management Conduct child development assessments to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining discipline through positive reinforcement techniques Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to safeguard children's well-being Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learners and children with additional needs Lead activities that promote physical health and motor skills development, including movement exercises and outdoor play Use standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments when necessary Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in accordance with licensing requirements Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential; preschool teaching experience is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Experience developing curriculum content across multiple domains such as literacy education, math instruction, and physical education Familiarity with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement Strong communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or childhood development are advantageous Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies is necessary for compliance standards Experience working in private schools or similar educational environments is a plus Join us in creating a nurturing space where young children can thrive!
