Daycare Teacher -

Part-Time & Full-Time Pay:

$11.00-$12.00 per hour Bright Stars Early Development Center is hiring caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Daycare Teachers for both Part-Time and Full-Time positions . We are looking for teachers who enjoy working with young children and can provide a safe, nurturing, engaging, and educational classroom environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care to children. Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities, arts and crafts, music, movement, sensory play, and indoor/outdoor activities. Support children's language, literacy, early math, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classroom. Follow classroom schedules, routines, and lesson plans. Use positive guidance and appropriate classroom management techniques. Maintain active supervision and required child-to-caregiver ratios. Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and rest time as needed. Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation. Communicate professionally with parents, coworkers, and management. Follow all center policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures. Participate in required training, staff meetings, and professional development. Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Previous daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is preferred. Must be patient, caring, dependable, and responsible. Must enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-age children. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of positive classroom and behavior management is preferred. Must meet applicable childcare background-check and licensing requirements. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Must be willing to complete required childcare training. Must be punctual and maintain reliable attendance.
