Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster early childhood development, including literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Provide attentive toddler care and classroom management to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children. Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and address challenges constructively. Conduct child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate classroom experience, standardized testing preparation where appropriate, and hands-on activities to support childhood development. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and preschool activities. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and childhood development standards. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are preferred. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality at all times. Demonstrated classroom experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children in private or public school environments is highly desirable.
