KinderCare seeks a Specialized Pre K Teacher to lead an inclusive, play-based classroom for young learners at Oakhurst Drive KinderCare. In this role, you'll design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that support language, early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills, adapting instruction for diverse abilities and learning styles. You'll partner closely with families, maintain detailed child assessments, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, specialized Pre-K curriculum aligned with learning standards. Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles, abilities, and behavioral needs. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth. Assess children's progress and maintain accurate documentation of observations and outcomes. Collaborate with families through regular communication, conferences, and progress updates. Work with center leadership and support staff to align classroom practices with Kinder Care standards. Develop and follow individualized learning plans for children who need additional support. Integrate play-based, hands-on activities that build language, early literacy, math, and motor skills. Maintain classroom organization, safety, and compliance with licensing and health regulations. Participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative teaching culture.
