In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment that supports infants and toddlers in their earliest stages of childhood. Candidates must have a minimum of a CDA in Infant and Toddler. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers, incorporating best practices in early childhood education, literacy education, and Montessori methods. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development. Provide attentive toddler care by ensuring safety, comfort, and individual attention to each child's needs. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment. Collaborate with families to support children's progress through regular communication about developmental milestones and individualized strategies. Support children with special education needs by implementing early intervention strategies and adapting activities accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, including assessments, standardized testing results, and behavioral observations. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health standards, and safety protocols related to childcare and early childhood education. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus. Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods enhances your ability to support diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners. Previous experience in toddler care or preschool environments that emphasizes nurturing care and developmental support is preferred. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with best practices.
