Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable One Year & Toddler Floater to join our early childhood education team. This role offers an opportunity to work with children aged one year and toddlers, providing flexible support across classrooms and activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, early childhood development, and classroom management, with a passion for fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. This position is essential in ensuring continuity of care and educational support within our daycare or preschool setting. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children aged one year and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. Assist with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime. Support classroom teachers by helping implement lesson plans and educational activities tailored to developmental stages. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Adapt quickly to different classroom needs by floating between rooms as required, ensuring all children receive quality care. Engage children in age-appropriate learning experiences that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress and needs. Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare practices. Qualifications Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom experience preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirable. Background in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and early childhood education best practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Childcare credentials or relevant coursework in early childhood education are advantageous. Compassionate attitude with patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for working with young children.
