Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. This position involves working closely with toddlers and young children, implementing lesson plans that promote literacy education and early intervention strategies. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for ensuring the overall welfare of the children while encouraging their development through engaging activities. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers and young children in a classroom setting. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to education. Educate children on various subjects, including basic literacy skills, social interactions, and emotional regulation. Monitor child welfare by observing behaviors and identifying any early intervention needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their growth and confidence. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices. Skills Experience in Infant care and working with young children is essential. Strong classroom management skills to create an engaging learning atmosphere. Proficient in lesson planning that aligns with developmental milestones. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention strategies is preferred. Background in literacy education is a plus to support children's reading development. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
