Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the preschool curriculum
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
  • Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
  • Engage children in hands-on activities, games, and storytelling to enhance their learning experience
  • Assess students' progress through observation, assessments, and regular communication with parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
  • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and developmental milestones
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young learners
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Experience in behavior management techniques
  • Classroom management skills to maintain an organized and engaging classroom
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure (if applicable)
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
