Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning.Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the preschool curriculum
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
- Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
- Engage children in hands-on activities, games, and storytelling to enhance their learning experience
- Assess students' progress through observation, assessments, and regular communication with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and developmental milestones
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young learners
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Experience in behavior management techniques
- Classroom management skills to maintain an organized and engaging classroom
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Valid teaching certification or licensure (if applicable)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
