We would like joyful and responsible individuals that love Jesus and would like to help/lead in Pre-K classrooms in the school. Training will be given to prepare you to take over a classroom as soon as needed. The main need is to instruct preschool-aged children with planned curriculum and activities while maintaining control of the class at all times. Full Time position. Most of our positions are until 6pm. Pay depends on years of verifiable experience, position filled, and performance What You'll Do Duties may include: Attend to children's basic needs by help feeding them, help dress them, and assisting them with toilet or potty training. Prepare lesson plans and teach a classroom while maintaining control Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills. Enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order. Read books to entire classes or to small groups. Organize and lead activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips. Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and needs Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities. Maintain accurate student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations. Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
