What You'll Do Duties may include:
  • Managing children's daily needs, such as feeding, dressing, and diaper changes.
  • Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans while maintaining classroom control.
  • Teaching essential skills and social skills.
  • Planning and leading activities like games, arts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
  • Monitoring children's progress, behavior, social development, and physical health.
  • Collaborating with parents to discuss their child's progress and needs.
  • Ensuring adherence to administrative policies and rules.
  • Preparing materials and classrooms for activities.
  • Promoting good eating habits and personal hygiene.
  • Serving meals and snacks according to nutritional guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate student records as required.
  • Attending staff meetings and participating in committees.
Requirements Able to maintain good attendance and punctuality. Able to successfully manage and control a classroom. Able to follow and teach the curriculum. Able to work collaboratively with others. High School Diploma/GED or higher education. Clear criminal history. CPR/1st Aid certification. Nice To Haves A minimum of two years of experience in a licensed childcare facility in Texas. The ability to drive our vans is a plus, requiring a clear driving record. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA certification would be beneficial.
