QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Teachers at the Primrose School of Westlake at Entrada deliver the Balanced Learning curriculum and engage children with classroom materials and resources to explore, while maintaining health and safety, classroom management and supervision.- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Highly dependable and professional with pleasant/friendly demeanor
- High integrity, competent, confident and coachable
- Able to interact with students of all ages and skill levels with an understanding of the social- motional and creative needs of young children
- Excellent communication, good listening, follow-up and problem-solving skills, including high coping capabilities
- Responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene and positive guidance of the children
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
