Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to support childcare classroom instruction and foster a positive learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing educational activities, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students' developmental needs. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a meaningful impact on children's growth and learning. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and other foundational skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Provide individualized attention and support to children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities. Help facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool or daycare settings. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and independence. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative educational experience. Assist with curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks. Support children with special needs through specialized strategies and accommodations as needed. Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and inclusive education practices. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Knowledge of special education techniques, including working with children with autism or disabilities. Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development across literacy education, math, and other core subjects. Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere. Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively. Experience with Montessori methods or toddler care is a plus. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs and support inclusive education initiatives.
