Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children while supporting their growth and learning. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns. Provide first aid when necessary and ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed. Support children with special needs through tailored activities and individualized attention as required. Foster an atmosphere of respect, kindness, and inclusion among all children. Qualifications Previous experience in daycare, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Familiarity with classroom management strategies to create a structured environment. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to manage diverse behaviors in a positive manner. Experience working with children with special educational needs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
