Job Description

CURRENTLY IN NEED

of availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. 10-12 hours a week available currently, with the potential for more depending on staffing needs. Large in home daycare located in Providence! We have 30 kids enrolled with 16-19 coming daily for our care. We have been a successful daycare for the past 20 years. Working here is a great opportunity to build on your experience working with children from different walks of life! It is so fun to play with the cutest kids and watch them learn and grow! This job is VERY fast paced and requires the teachers to think on their feet and jump in when needed. We take pride in the team of teachers we have put together knowing that they are all kind, helpful, and fun to work with! We do our best to avoid burnout by only scheduling teachers the number of hours they request! We are willing to work with school schedules and time-off requests when possible.

Pay:

starts at $12/hour but will increase with the completion/certification of: food handlers (50 cents) CPR and first aid (50 cents) TB test (25 cents) Background Check (25 cents) On Time Bonus (50 cents) Potential to make $14/hour at the start of the job As well as an opportunity for frequent pay raises as you gain seniority and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Care for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. Prepare meals and snacks for children. Clean work place. Prepare lessons and crafts for preschool age children. Change diapers, clothing, potty train children, and play with them. Provide a clean and safe environment for the children as well as interacting and communicating with parents and other coworkers.

Qualifications:

CPR and first aid certification (May do after hire) Food handlers permit (May do after hire) Background check and finger printing (May do after hire) TB test if over 18 years old (May do after hire) fun and kind personality ability to work in a fast paced environment a team player easy to work with Previous experience with children preferred but not required
